Signs of danger for woman during the postpartum stage
Vaginal bleeding and increased maternal blood.
Foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
High temperature (fever, 38°C or more) with or without a shudder.
Severe abdomen colic.
Extreme fatigue and exhaustion.
Dyspnea.
Swelling of the extremities (hands and legs) and face with severe headache or confusion and blurred vision.
Cracked nipples, breast engorgement, breast tenderness, and bleeding nipples.
Urinary retention.
Pain in the leg calf (muscle).
Swelling in one of the lower extremities with pain.
