Signs of danger to the newborn
Respiratory rate more than 60 per minute.
Change in the shape of the ribs (when breathing).
Low or high temperature.
Poor feeding.
Yellowing of the skin and eyes.
Decreased activity.
Convulsions.
Cyanosis.
The mother should go to the hospital as soon as possible in case she or her child shows signs of danger.
