Signs of danger for woman during the postpartum stage
· Vaginal bleeding and increased maternal blood.
· Foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
· High temperature (fever, 38°C or more) with or without a shudder.
· Severe abdomen colic.
· Extreme fatigue and exhaustion.
· Dyspnea.
· Swelling of the extremities (hands and legs) and face with severe headache or confusion and blurred vision.
· Cracked nipples, breast engorgement, breast tenderness, and bleeding nipples.
· Urinary retention.
· Pain in the leg calf (muscle).
· Swelling in one of the lower extremities with pain.
